Seeking 2 Hospitalists to pilot a program requested by the Medical Staff Employment includes all overhead expenses, CME, medical, dental, 401K, as well as relocation allowance. The program has been requested & fully supported by our primary care physicians. Our Hospital, a 107-bed JCAHO accredited facility is the sole provider in Lawrence County. A total of 32 active and 60 consulting medical staff specialties represent the following specialties: Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, ENT/Allergy, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Nephrology, Neurology, OB/GYN, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedic Surgery, Pathology, Pediatrics, Pulmonology, Radiology and Urology. January 2009 we moved into our new state of the art $5.4 million dollar Emergency Room. Our Emergency Room is staffed with ER physicians 24-hours per day 7-days per week. We have added many new services in the last year including 64 slice CT scanner, new Echocardiogram Ultrasound unit and digital Mammography in April 2009. Our beautiful, 13,500 sq. ft. Women's Health Center opened January 2000. In house MRI and bone densitometer were included in this project. Lawrenceburg is 90 minutes from Nashville, TN, 70 minutes from Huntsville, AL, and 40 minutes from Florence, AL. The town population is at 17,000, the county at 40,000. There are several shopping plazas from super Wal-Mart to Goody's and Peebles Department Store and other smaller specialty stores. There are numerous antique shops and the Amish community is a unique asset to scenic and historic Lawrence County. The area is fortunate to have attracted a diversified mixture of business and industry with 37 industries providing more than 9,000 clean industrial jobs.
