Susquehanna Health is seeking 3 BC/BE Internal Medicine physicians for our Hospitalist position to join nine (9) others here at The Williamsport Hospital and Medical Center in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The program was established under the directorship of Thomas Cullen, DO three years ago and has grown into a highly respected opportunity where individuals regularly interact with many specialists and sub-specialists, while providing care in all units of he hospital. There is a rotating block schedule that provides support during peak periods. The health system and its Hospitalist program put a premium on patient care. Leading edge technology, including Electronic Medical Records and Order Entry. Teaching is available, as there is a Family Practice residency onsite.
Susquehanna Health consists of three hospitals and a multi-specialty group practice employing over 80 physicians. The Williamsport Hospital and Medical Center is a 230 bed regional referral Center, Divine Providence Hospital has outpatient services, a surgicenter and a 30 -bed inpatient Behavorial Health Center, Muncy Valley Hospital is a 25 bed critical access hospital with a 138 bed long-term care facility. Susquehanna Health is embarking on a $250 million expansion project spanning the next 5 years. All Imaging Departments are scheduled for major upgrades. There are numerous specialty and sub-specialty practices to refer to and consult with for your patients.
