New Jersey Hospitalist

Hospital in Northwest New Jersey is seeking immediate November locum coverage!! Negotiable rates!! Malpractice Covered. We will cover all lodging and travel. Possible December dates as well 12 hour shifts, 8pm-8am. The schedule ideally will be 7 on/7 off, but if we can break up the blocks w/part-timers. no call, 24/7 hospitalist model so there's always someone on staff; no interns or residents ED docs respond to intubation, but hospitalists cover about 75% of the inpatient care and respond to codes; must be comfortable in ICU (which is mainly mixed surgical and post-op--no trauma); basically is a critical care setting; cardiologists and pulmonologists are available but they want a doc who's comfortable w/covering ICU; 15-20 patients per doc, give or take a few; census is expected to rise around holidays ACLS required; the nursing staff is very strong, about 2 nurses per 1 ICU patients.
