Nevada Hospitalist

LAS VEGAS area - Just started a search for Hospitalists! Client is interested in adding four new associates for a 100% inpatient position with a large group (currently have 18 hospitalists). Currently staffing three facilities, and the demand for services is increasing! Each "team" is assigned to one hospital, but may have to cover at others if absolutely necessary. Schedule will be 7 on/7 off, with 12 hour shifts, 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. Each hospitalist is scheduled off 26 weeks a year, plus receives 7+ weeks of paid time off/year. Hospitalists manage an average of 18 - 20 patients per shift. ICU patients are co-managed with cardiologists. Hospitalists will rotate to nights for one month, approximately every four months. Client prefers BC candidates, may consider BE physicians with plans to obtain certification and ties to the area. Nevada license in place or in process is a big plus. Seeking exceptional clinicians with superior inpatient diagnostic and procedural skills, plus an appreciation of teamwork and professionalism.
