SE MA: Job Description:Full Time Hospitalists needed for 2 hospital regional medical center. One hospital is 230 bed acute care hospital, the second hospital is a community hospital with approximately 100 beds. Pay ranges from $170,000 to $180,000 (dependent on experience). Hospitalist typically works primarily at one hospital. Schedule 4on/4off, typically 35-40 hour/week work schedule. Total hours of work per year is 1680. 30 overnight shifts/year. Hospitalists at 230 bed hospital cover ICU with Pulmonologist backup, the smaller community hospitals ICU is not covered by the hospitalist service. Hospital is implementing advanced scheduling (3 to 6 months in advance) to facilitate vacation scheduling and non-work life.
