Join 12 person hospitalist group in Boston MA. This group also has mid levels. The work schedule is 7 on 7 off/12 hour shifts. You will do mostly days and 1-2 nights per week. There will be 5 hospitalists on during the day and 1 on at night. The Nocturnist's schedule is 7 on 7 off. The hospital has 185 beds and 450 physicians on staff. The service area is 600,000 and the population is 100,000. This community is only 30 minutes outside of Boston. The salary is $180,000 plus bonuses. You will get $80 for every admission over 4 admits in one shift and $40 for every encounter over 17. This group does offer partnership and a possible sign on bonus. The benefits include: malpractice insurance, short and long term disability, life insurance, health and dental insurance, 401k and $5000 for CME.
