Five physician hospitalist group in Baltimore is looking to expand. Work Monday through Friday 8:30am-5pm. The hospital has residents cover the evening call and admissions. The physician is only required to cover 1:3 weekend calls, which involves taking call from home and rounding only. There is a competitive base salary and bonuses. The group is also offering an opportunity for a physician to work as a hospitalist for the first years and then transition into an office based practice in a new facility that is being constructed through the hospital. The hospital covers the malpractice and relocation fees. Benefits include health-dental-vision-CME allowance-4 weeks of PTO and additional days for CME-Retirement-401K. The new hospital is located on the waterfront with all of the conveniences of metro Baltimore. The area has several excellent universities, parks and recreational activities. Close proximity to both Washington D.C. and Philadelphia.
