Join a well-established hospitalist group in an excellent "high-ground" community north of New Orleans. Work with eight other physicians in a 7on/7off block schedule model. Nights are rotated equally 1:8 weeks. Work out of one 200+ bed facility with an inpatient census of 15. The hospital is offering a very competitive salary with incentive bonuses. The hospital will cover the malpractice, relocation, and benefits including: health-dental-life-disability-CME allowance-403b-loan forgiveness. This city north of Lake Ponchatrain is experiencing great population growth, and was not directly affected by Katrina.
