Kentucky Hospitalist

A locum tenens Hospitalist is needed for a long-term opportunity in western Kentucky. The Hospitalist will be working in a state-of-the-art Regional Medical Center. The Hospitalist will be responsible for seeing between 15-20 adult patients per day. Shifts will be 7 days on and 7 days off, working a schedule from 7 a.m to 7 p.m., with call scheduled every other evening. During the shift there will be double coverage during the day with additional assistance from an NP or PA. Duties will include rounding, admitting and discharging patients as well as covering the ICU. Procedures will include arterial and central line management, vent management and intubation. The ideal candidate will be interested in making a long term commitment with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine.
