Join hospital employed group of 5 hospitalists. Physicians generally work 16 shifts per month and typically work in 4 to 5 day blocks. Hospitalists work 8A to 5P when on and take call from home 1:4 evenings and 1:4 weekends. Work out of 89-bed hospital with 6-bed ICU. Some ICU work is required. Physicians generally see around 10 patients per day. $195K salary +20% bonus potential + malpractice, health, 5 weeks vacation/CME, 401-K with 7% match, relocation, signing bonus, etc.
