Practice should be up and running before new physician is hired. Group will have established FPs cover practice to get it started. Group would prefer experienced candidate that would be comfortable working in solo setting. Group would prefer candidate willing to do inpatient work. Although a strictly outpatient practice may be possible. 1:4 call schedule. $160K to $170KJoin group of 5 hospitalists wanting to grow to 8. Group does 8 hour shifts and does block scheduling each month. Work 12 days on and have 2 days off. Then, work 7 day on and have 7 days off. Pattern is repeated each month. Group is also looking for nocturnist willing to work 7 night on, 7 night off schedule. Nocturnists do 12 hour shifts. Work out of one 200-bed hospital. Hospitalists do ICU work but do not need to do procedures. $180K compensation + full benefit package and signing bonus!! Great, family-oriented community. 30 minutes to St. Louis, MO!!
