Excellent Hospitalist opportunity in Belleville, IL!! The initial target for the group is to have six full-time inpatient physicians, four full time day hospitalists and two nocturnists who will share rounding and call responsibilities. The Group would expand in the future if the census increases with time, as is expected. The current goal is for a daily census of 12-15 patients per physician, with 2-5 new admissions per day. The Group also provides medical consults on surgical patients with our primary physicians at Memorial Hospital. The day hospitalist has a 3 week on, one week off traditional Monday-Friday work week with rotating weekends. The nocturnist position is a 7on-7off model. Their nocturnist program would strengthen their group. Hospitalist are paid a base salary of $180,000. There is also a combined quality/productivity bonus of up to $10,000. The company offers a full benefits package including health, dental, life, money purchase plan and $2000.00 toward continuing medical education.
