5 physician private hospitalist group in Jacksonville, FL is looking to add 3 more hospitalists. The group also has 3 nurse practitioners working with them. The schedule is 2 weeks Monday to Friday from 9am to 5:30pm, then 7 days on 9am to 5:30pm and 3 days off and finally 7 days on 9am to 5:30pm and then 4 days off. Call is 1 in 5 from home and the physicians rarely have to go into the hospital at night. The average census is 21. No procedures required. This is an employed position with a partnership available after 2 years. The starting salary is based on experience and ranges from $170,000 to $195,000 base plus 50% productivity bonuses after expenses. The group also provides malpractice, relocation, 401k with company match, CME allowance and time off, 3 weeks vacation and health/dental insurance.
