Large Healthcare plan in Daytona Beach, FL is seeking an internist to serve as a hospitalist for the group. Group currently has 63 employed physicians. Group is looking for someone to serve as hospitalist for their Palm Coast physicians. Group has 4 physicians at its Palm Coast location. They average 7 to 10 inpatients at a time. Physician would admit, care for admitted patients, do medical consults and discharge patients. Physician would also round on nursing home patients twice per week. Average nursing home census is 5 to 8 patients. Candidate would work traditional Mon thru Fri schedule with weekend call 1:5 weekends. Candidate would be on call two weekday nights per week. $170K compensation + very comprehensive benefit package.
Position is in Palm Coast, FL. Beautiful coastal community with local population of 75K. Just 30 miles North of Daytona Beach, FL.
