It is a private, non-profit acute care teaching hospital licensed for 367 beds and affiliated with the Yale School of Medicine, the University Of Connecticut School Of Medicine and Connecticut Childrens Medical Center. Currently seeking a part-time Physician to work Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays (24 hours per week) flexible hours with full time potential. Central CT.-Full Time Hospitalist: Seeking full-time and part-time Hospitalists to join well-established, successful Hospitalist group in an expanding program in a medium-sized community hospital. The job is mostly day shifts 7am to 3 pm, typically rounding on about 12 patients, plus one admission. About 15-20 % of the time it would be evening shifts (3pm-11pm) usually admitting 4-6 patients plus providing coverage for existing inpatients, working partially with PAs.1 or 2 weeks per year will be a week of night shifts (11p-7a) working with a PA as well.

The starting salary is around $155,000, with an incentive bonus that goes as high as 16% of base salary. 4 weeks vacation. One week CME. Up to $2500 annually for CME time. 12 days sick time. Malpractice Covered, no tail coverage needed.

(5) Eastern Connecticut 30 Miles from Hartford, CT Private Hospitalist group in Eastern Connecticut, located 30 miles from Hartford, is seeking 2 Hospitalists to join 5 others at this modern acute-care 130 bed facility providing a vital core of inpatient, out patient and emergency services in a caring and personal community setting in Northeastern Connecticut. Affiliation with tertiary care facilities, such as Hartford Hospital, the UConn Medical Center, and the Connecticut Childrens Medical Center. Schedule is a negotiable block schedule with no or very limited night coverage, 1 per week. (nights are covered by Nocturnist.) 15 patients per 12 hour shift, 2/3 admissions, No ICU coverage, Intensivists on staff, no intubation or managing ventilators. Full time BC/BE Hospitalist needed for 130 bed acute care hospital in Central CT. Attending Medical Staff, the hospitalists are responsible for clinical management of patients, timely communication and comprehensive collaboration. Responsible for Inpatient Management/Hospital based medical care. Position includes committee work, quality improvement activities and teaching for both staff and community. Must be committed to providing high quality and cost effective patient care. Must have experience in managing acutely ill adult patients with a variety of chronic illnesses.

Full time evening position 12-10pm, 4 day work week with rotating holidays and weekends. Salary is $140K base plus shift differentials meaning they will be compensated 12% more of their hourly rate from 3pm-10pm and 25% more during those same hours on the weekends.

Full time Nocturnist position, 8pm-8am, 3 dys/wk with one extra shift every 3rd week. Salary is $140K base plus shift differentials meaning they will be compensated 12% more of their hourly rate from 8pm-11pm and 15% more from 11pm-7am, 25% and 30% more respectively during those same hours on the weekends.

Seeking full time hospitalist joining a group of 5, flexible schedule, excellent pay and benefits. Full time is considered 1800 clinical hours per year. Daily census of approximately 8-10. Ideal candidate will be experienced, with clinical background or interest in pulmonology or critical care as Hospitalists cover ICU, IM Boarded and excellent academic background.

This Hospital is a not-for-profit, full-service community hospital that provides acute care in a broad range of medical, surgical and diagnostic specialties to patients in western Connecticut and eastern New York State. Hospitalist opportunities they have now are: 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. shift; and a 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. shift. The afternoon shift will work 40 hours; the evening shift will work 50 hours. It may be that the evening shift can switch with the afternoon shift on occasion. H1s are certainly acceptable
