A premier multi-specialty group in northern Orange County is expanding by adding two additional hospitalists. There are currently seven hospitalist physicians and they are adding two more due to an increased patient load. The daytime schedule is Monday-Friday with a 1:9 week rotation for nights. Night call is phone call only for that week and the pulmonologist for the group will handle inpatient visits after hours. The weekend call will be 1:4. The inpatient census averages 15 and they work primarily out of one hospital although they do admit to three others occasionally. The group is offering a competitive and negotiable salary in the $180,000 range. Malpractice and full benefits are covered as well, including health-dental-vision-401k-CME allowance- 3 weeks vacation.
