12 Physician hospitalist group is looking for a daytime hospitalist due to growth. Work 21 shifts per month, 6am to 6pm. They have nocturnist doing all the nights shifts. The average daily census is 18 patients. No call. No ICU work or procedures. Work at only one hospital. There are two options for structuring the employment. The first is to be a salaried physician with a base salary of $180,000, malpractice and health and dental. The second option is to be an independent contractor where the group pays out 75% of collections from the previous month. They still provide malpractice and health and dental insurance. The Phoenix metro area has close to 1.5 million people and offers great climate, beautiful scenery, professional sports, universities and colleges, great golf and more.
