We are assisting a hospital system located in Birmingham with the recruitment of a Hospitalist for one of the facilities 40 minutes from Birmingham. 10 year old hospital has 40 beds. Position is to work M-F 8 to 5p. Patient volume is in the 8-12 range. Call would be shared on a 1 in 6 rotation with primary care providers in the area. Hospitalist will enjoy a collegial relationship with the 12 physician Hospitalist group based at the main facility in Birmingham. Candidate has the option of living either in or near this community, or, in Birmingham for larger community amenities.
