Cancer Center in PA is seeking a BE/BC Hematologist/Oncologist to meet growing patient demand in a thriving hospital based practice in the Great Lakes region of Pennsylvania. The hospital just opened a brand new, state of the art comprehensive cancer care facility that has been designed around the concept of treating the whole person mind, body and spirit. The current practice employs two medical hematologist/oncologists and one radiation oncologist. The Oncology Institute is an outpatient oncology facility fully equipped with an onsite laboratory, pharmacy, CT scan, mobile PET scan, private treatment rooms, computerized tumor registry, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, immunotherapy clinical trials and monoclonal antibody treatment. Staff include: oncology certified nurses, pharmacists, radiation therapists, dosimetrists, physicists, psycho/social counselors, nutritionists, and phlebotomists. This is a hospital employed position and will offer a competitive salary, productivity incentives, full family health and disability, paid malpractice insurance, paid vacation and CME, Sign- on bonus and relocation expenses.
Practice is located in northwest Pennsylvania with a local population of 15,000 and a service draw of 96,000. It has a strong industrial economy, good public, parochial and private schools and is a college town.
