Geriatric Physician Job OutPatient, South Carolina - No Nights or Weekends
A Geriatric Out Patient Senior Health Center Geriatric Position in South Carolina. To join five residency trained geriatric doctors in a Senior Health Center setting. This position is Monday through Friday with no call. All in hospital work is covered by the hospitalist department.
Physicians will be employees of the hospital (3 year contracts) with very competitive salaries, benefits, retirement plans, relocation allowance, etc.
Need one Geriatrician to be the third at the south office. Current office expansion was completed in November 2006.
Need one Geriatrician, ideally with 3+ years of practice experience, opened a new office that was completed in April 2007.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be fellowship trained in Geriatrics.
Must be board certified in internal medicine or family medicine.
PRACTICE DETAILS:
NO NIGHTS, WEEKENDS, HOLIDAYS /NO PAGERS!!
Practices are outpatient only!
40 hrs/wk (usually M-Th 9 hrs, Fri 4 hrs)
Admissions are handled by hospitalist service
Offices are staffed with a social worker\community resource coordinator as well as an RN for each physician.
Practices are limited to geriatrics (55+ yrs old) with appointment time slots commensurate with the need to properly care for geriatric patients
The Medical Center currently operates two well established, very busy Senior Health Centers and began construction on a third Center opened in Spring 2007 in the fastest growing part of the community. Each office is co-located with diagnostic imaging and laboratory services to provide convenient access and continuity of care for our patients.
