Anchorage, Alaska -- Providence Alaska Medical Center has an immediate opening for a Geriatric physician at our long-term care facility, Providence Extended Care Center. J-1 eligible. Seeking Geriatrician or Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician with interest or fellowship in Geriatrics. Our dynamic center provides skilled care and rehabilitation services in friendly, comfortable surroundings. Providence Extended Care is the largest long-term care facility in Alaska with 224 beds, and draws residents of all age groups and acuity levels. Care is provided by professional staff from a variety of medical disciplines, working together to develop individual plans of care to help each resident attain the best possible quality of life. With 364 beds and a medical staff of 600, Providence Alaska Medical Center is the most comprehensive tertiary facility in the state and the only one with a dedicated Children's Hospital.
