Group Practice in Beautiful West Virginia!
A multi-specialty group and a 200+ bed hospital in southern West Virginia are jointly seeking a BC/BE General Surgeon. There are 5 general surgeons in the area. The need is due to some physicians who may be retiring in the next few years and there is a demonstrated need in the community. There is a draw area population of 260,000.
Opportunity ~ The hospital has 7 operating rooms with state-of-the-art technology, highly qualified personnel with a dedicated team of 5 Anesthesiologists and 4 CRNAs. The new physician can anticipate bread and butter cases and laparascopic skills will be welcomed. Compensation is 50 - 75% of MGMA, based upon background and experience. Opportunity is a salaried employee plus RVU incentives. Excellent benefits, paid relocation, sign-on bonus & malpractice insurance are offered. Call will be shared.
Location ~ The area is considered a Top 100 community for families three years consecutively, with a superior cost of living. There are abundant outdoor amenities with 4 distinct seasons, numerous public and private schools and 3 colleges and technical schools. The average commute to work is less than 10 minutes.
