General Surgery - 2 Practice Options - Hospital Employment or Private Practice

Central Montgomery Medical Center in Lansdale, PA is recruiting new General Surgeons to the community of Lansdale. There are 2 practice options to consider employment with the hospital or private practice.

CMMC is assisting an established Private Practice Surgery Group in their recruitment of a new surgeon to the practice. The group is currently 2 physicians who perform a wide variety of bread and butter procedures in addition to wound care, vascular and other cases. Ideal candidates will be General Surgery BE/BC. Advanced laparoscopic training and or other practice special interests are a plus but not required. The new physician in the practice will receive a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits package for the first 2 years. Partnership is offered after 2 years. Weeknight call is handled within the group. Weekend call is shared with another group and will be a rotation of 1:5. The 2nd practice opportunity is as a hospital employed surgeon with CMMC. A complete salary, benefits package and more will be offered. There is call coverage arrangement for the hospital practice.

Central Montgomery Medical Center is a125-bed hospital. All specialty services are offered except for heart and neurosurgery. The Lansdale community is approximately 45-minutes from the Philadelphia airport. The service area population exceeds 150,000. The Lansdale area is growing and offers a variety of housing, educational facilities and recreational and cultural activities with its proximity to Philadelphia.
