Oregon General Surgery

Seaside, Oregon -- Providence Health & Services is seeking a Physician Assistant with surgical assist training/experience to join us in the lovely north Oregon coastal hamlet of Seaside. Seeking an exceptional PA who will work with lead orthopedic and general surgeons in our wonderful critical access hospital. Duties to include standard first-assist responsibilities, including, ie., pre- and post-op patient evaluation, tissue retraction and exposure, gastrointestinal stapling, suture ligature, suture and stapled closure, and other typical first-assist activities under the observation and guidance of the attending surgeon as deemed prudent. Providence Seaside Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital offering excellent primary and specialty care to the people of Oregons rugged north coast. The facility has a 20-bed extended care unit and offers home health and rehabilitation services. Our collegial physicians and staff partner closely with Providences employed multi-specialty physician group, which has offices in Seaside and two nearby beach hamlets, Cannon Beach and Warrenton.
