Community Hospital is seeking a general surgeon to join a multi-specialty group near Toledo, OH. There are currently 30 active staff members including 8 physicians and 3 nurse practitioners. Work in a 99-bed, state-of-the-art facility. Currently there is a Chief of General Surgery that is doing 700+ cases/year including surgeries and scopes. There is also another GS splitting 1/3 of his time in this practice. Based on 40,000 service population, need for another full-time surgeon is indeed necessary. Looking for a physician to do primarily bread & butter cases, 10% of practice is vascular. Located in Northwest Ohio near Ft. Wayne, IN. Offering a 2 year income guarantee -- this is an employed position model. Can convert to RVU productivity model.
