General Surgery - Private Practice Group

Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center of the Valley Health System in Las Vegas is assisting an established private practice group in the recruitment of a new associate/partner for the practice. The practice is bread and butter surgery general surgery as well as complex cases.

The group has one office location and will be adding a 2nd office. They cover at several Las Vegas area hospitals. A base salary/income guarantee, full benefits package and incentive plan is being offered. There is a partnership track. The practice is very busy, has a good reputation and strong referral base. The surgeons are primary surgical providers on numerous health insurance plans in the Las Vegas area. Valley Health System includes Desert Springs Hospital Medical Center, Summerlin Hospital Medical Center, Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center, Valley Hospital Medical Center and Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center all of which are owned and managed by subsidiaries of Universal Health Services, Inc. Centennial Hills is currently under construction and is scheduled to open late 2007.

Las Vegas is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States and offers a wide variety of educational, cultural and recreational activities. There are many wonderful family oriented communities throughout the city. Las Vegans enjoy moderate weather. -hot summers are tolerable due to low humidity ranging from 20 to 30 percent. Cultural activities include shows and guest appearances by major recording stars, art and natural history museums. Sporting events include world championship boxing, the National Finals Rodeo, bass fishing, car racing, college basketball, the PGA Invensys Classic at Las Vegas and a Triple A Minor League baseball team.
