Seeking a bread and butter general surgeon for a small town in Georgia. You have a choice of joining another general surgeon or sharing overhead. Call will be 1 in 3 at a new hospital (opened 2007) with 100 beds. There are four brand new OR's and two Endo Suites with the latest and greatest facilities and equipment. There is a very active group of referring physicians. No HMOs are in the area and excellent reimbursements. There is a guarantee salary based of $300,000 plus a signing bonus. Overhead will also be provided.
Practice is small town of 10,000 and a service draw of 60,000. Thirty minutes to the coast, one hour from Savannah and 1 hours to Jacksonville, FL. Good public and parochial schools with the institutions of higher education available one two hour drive.
