This job is a typical 8 hour day,Monday through Friday, with really flexible hours. Each physician is responsible for 24 hour call with their assigned facilities. The morning hours are spent at the outpatient clinic/GI lab doing procedures, with clinic hours in the afternoon. Procedures required include: Colonoscopies, EGD, flexible sigmoidoscopies, feeding tubes, ERCP, EUS, breathing hydrogen testing, capsule endoscopy, and manometry.In addition to this great assignment, enjoy Iowa's various attractions, biking trails, festivals and events, golf courses, national landmarks, and state parks.
