Qualifications
The following are the requirements for a Gastroenterologist. recruit at LKMC:
Board Certified in Gastroenterology (or will become boarded if currently completing training)
Licensed in Florida (or eligible for Florida licensure)
Meet requirements for membership and privileges on the Medical Staff
Objectives
Establish a private practice of Gastroenterology in the Key West area.
Render medical care services to patients in the Hospital consistent with all relevant regulatory, professional and accreditation standards, and in compliance with Hospitals Medical Staff Bylaws and policies.
Staffing and Coverage Expectations
Three-year commitment
Admit and care for own patients as appropriate
Consult with members of the Medical Staff in the treatment of patients when such consultation is requested
ED Call 10 days per month; general medical unassigned patients are covered by hospitalists
