A practice in eastern Texas is looking for a permanent Family Practice w/ OB physician to join their practice. This clinic serves the under or uninsured population. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. There are rotating Saturdays with the hours being 8 a.m.-12 p.m. and evening hours will soon be implemented. The ideal candidate would be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Practice with OB experience and must speak Spanish. You should be comfortable with normal deliveries and C-Section experience is a plus and you will have OB/GYN call back-up at the hospital. You can expect to see 22-25 patients per day in the clinic and patients range in age from infants to geriatric patients. You can expect normal check-ups, colds and coughs, up to polysymptom patients including ailments such as diabetes and hypertension.
