BACKGROUND INFORMATION The Unity Physician Clinic is a multi-specialty, JCAHO accredited group of 25 physicians and 9 extenders, which includes Family Practice, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, ENT, Orthopedic Surgery, Occupational Medicine, and Urgent Care. All of Unity's physicians are board certified in their specialty. The Clinic is subsidiary of Unity HealthCare, an integrated health system located in Muscatine and is attached to Unity Hospital, an 80-bed JCAHO accredited facility. Unity Hospital boasts a brand new, state of the art surgery center with six operating rooms. An intensive care unit, air ambulance service and full time contract emergency medicine coverage are also provided. THE POSITION The Family Practice physician would be sharing call with the eight other Family Practice physicians in our Physician Clinics. The position offers a guaranteed base salary of $150,000 to $175,000 with the opportunity to earn a production bonus. 32 days of paid time-off is provided.
