Family Medicine

Position
A nationally recognized, fully integrated healthcare system that excels in quality outcomes, the regional employer of choice for both physicians and staff, seeks a BE/BC family practitioner for one of its sites. Physicians enjoy collegial working relationships and a dedicated staff that supports both primary care physicians and specialists. Both general family practitioners and those that are fellowship-trained in geriatrics will be considered for this position. The successful candidate will admit to the local hospital or opt to utilize a nearby hospitalist program. The physician will have three exam rooms, a dedicated medical assistant, and nurse triage. He/she will work four days a week, share call 1:4, and enjoy the benefit of an established electronic medical reords system. A nurse triage service screens calls 24/7/365 before transferring them to the on-call physician. The emergency department is staffed by full-time employed physicians. This is an employed position with a generous salary guarantee. After the guarantee, the physician will move to an incentive compensation plan.

Medical Facilities
One of the medical centers, a 25-bed, JCAHC-accredited, critical access hospital offers both inpatient and outpatient care. It has a service area of 25,000, including Ripon, Green Lake, Princeton, Markestan, Brandon, and Montello.

The other medical center, a 260-bed, facility continues to have a viable presence in its community and the surrounding area. Its ACS Level II trauma center has a dedicated chest pain center, helicopter-based response service, and board certified emergency medicine physicians. The Neuroscience Center includes a six-bed neurological intensive care unit. The Center of Rehabilitation Services treats trauma, stroke, orthopedic, and neuromuscular conditions. It also has a dedicated pediatric program. A nearby childrens hospital has a fully staffed level III neonatal ICU.

Community
Ripon is in the northeast part of Wisconsin. The communitys architectural, educational and political heritage makes it one of Wisconsins most significant cities. Green Lake, Wisconsin, just five minutes from Ripon, is an upscale area that attracts a great deal of wealth from Chicago. Multi-million dollar homes, world-class golf , and the beautiful 7,346-acre Green Lake, are just part of what attracts visitors to this lovely area. Competing communities were ranked by attractions, vibe, scenery, walkability, shopping, dining, lodging, arts scene, outdoor activities, proximity to major cities, multi-day potential, and a wild card for special events.
