The Hospital
An 84 - bed general acute care hospital, serving the needs of the residents of Carbon and Emery counties for over 20 years. The Hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission Accreditation of Hospital Organizations and has been chosen as a Top 100 Hospital by HCIA/ Mercer six times.
We offer 24-hour physician staffing, 24-hour emergency department with 8 beds, 5 OR's, Endoscopy/GI Suite, MRI, Cardiopulmonary facilities, and more. The medical staff consists of 26 physicians with a variety of specialties including Anesthesiology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, ENT, Allergy and Immunology, Urology, Gynecology, Pathology, Radiology, and Gastroenterology. The hospital has 2 specialty units, including Adult and Pediatric and Intensive Care. The hospital also provides a full range of diagnostic imaging services, including mammography, CT Scan, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, X-Ray, Ultrasound, a Bone Densitometer and more.
A recently completed $5 million expansion project has provided Castleview with a state-of-the-art out-patient surgical department. We have the best bad debt hospital in the country - 6% is self pay and low mal practice premiums.

Practice Assistance
A Management Services Organization (MSO) is available to physicians who want to remain independent, but who do not want to be bothered with the daily business functions of the practice. MSO services can be as minimal as a 25% discount on malpractice and receiving benefits at a discounted rate or a total package that includes billing and collection, personnel and payroll management, and business development. The MSO is not owned or related to the hospital, but works well with the hospital. The structure is designed to give the physicians freedom to run their own practice without having to handle all the management details that can be so time consuming.

The location is a forward looking city located in what is called ""Castle Country"" at the junction of the Wasatch Range and the San Rafael Swell. This unique landscape allows a variety of year-round activities. Here you will find red and orange sandstone rock formations resembling castles and other unique formations.
