General Practice Medicine, clinical setting. Work for a newly renovated clinic near the Galleria area. This position sees all ages (mostly adolescent to Geriatric, but some peds on occasion). Prior Physician moved back to Canada to retire with family. Practice is open to what physician wants to do and what ages they want to see. Previous physician practiced (40% FP patient cases, 40% Pain, 20% IM). General walk-in patients. Insurances could be accepted, but has been busy with cash pay patients, busy enough to have a wait and turn patients away until the next day. High Blood Pressure, Infections, STDs, Viagra, Pain Management, Family Medicine, General Practice, Internal Medicine. 30-50 patients per day. Help from 1 NP and MA/RN, soon to add 1 more NP. Monday - Friday 8-4, no call. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job Description If you are an experienced Family Practice Medical Doctor(M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.), then we want to speak with you. Established Family Practice group with deep community roots, has an opportunity for a medical provider to join their growing practice. Qualifications include being a graduate of an accredited medical program, board certification or eligibility (BC/BE) in Family Medicine and a valid Texas license.
