We are looking for licensed physicians with good writing skills to perform medical record review of cases. This entails complete review of the physician assistant charts,documenting the services provided, and formulating a concise summary of the case and an appeal argument based on the medical necessity of the care provided.
Retrospective review and appeal is ideal for someone who wants to leverage their medical experience in a new way and learn more about the payor-hospital relationship. The majority of the work can be done at home on your own schedule, with one trip a week into our office to maintain the flow of medical records
Clinicians with primary care and urgent care experience and good communication skills are encouraged to apply, and learn more about the exciting and satisfying field of geriatric medicine. Center hours are regular, and are scheduled. Competitive salary of $85,000 a year for two days a month, Texas Licensed required, all travel reimbursments paid through Clinic.
