A Board Certified or Board Eligible Family physician is needed in Texas, only 45 minutes from Corpus Christi. A 20 bed, critical access facility owns and operates three rural health clinics that service the entire county in addition to a specialty clinic for specialists from larger cities near by. Typical office hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and each physician sees 20 patients per day on average. There is an Internist and one other Family physician currently working at the facility which makes the call rotation 1:3. A generous compensation package including a base salary starting at 150k, malpractice insurance, state license, drug registrations, one week CME, vacation and paid holidays is being offered. There is also clinic clerical staff and one LVN per physician employed by the hospital.
