Family Medicine-- Northwest Rhode Island Starting salary $140K and up, $25K annual Loan Repayment, 6 weeks paid time off. H1B and J1 welcome! Full and part time opportunities.

This is a federally qualified community health center (FQHC) that operates three sites in Rhode Island. They serve a predominantly English speaking population. In addition to primary care services, the organization provides dental, behavioral health, radiology and 340(b) pharmacy services. All of their sites are certified by the National Health Service Corp and as a result, physicians working at those sites are eligible to apply for federal loan repayment in the maximum amount of $25K per annum. J-1 and H1B visas are welcome to apply.

Seeking a full-time family practice physician or IM. This practice is at a small rural site. Hours for this position would be Monday through Friday, 8:30 5:00. Call rotation would be every other week (phone triage only). There are no requirements for hospital rotation or to return to the office after hours. Base salary would be $140K for an experienced physician plus additional compensation based on performance (production and quality) of up to an additional $10K per annum. After one year of employment, salary is automatically increased in proportion to the rate increases that the organization receives from its various third party payers.

Benefits include four weeks of paid vacation, one week of paid sick time, ten paid holidays and three days for continuing professional education. Health and dental insurance coverage is provided as is a 403(b) retirement plan (with company matching contributions), group life and group disability coverage, a Section 125 flexible benefits plan and stipends for out of pocket expenses relating to continuing education, professional licensure, etc.

The organization is also seeking a part-time (24 32 hours per week) family practice physician or IM. Hours would include one evening shift per week (until 8:00 PM) and every fourth Saturday (8:30 AM 4:30 PM). With the exception of the evening shift and Saturday rotation, the remaining hours would be scheduled Monday through Friday (8:30 AM 5:00 PM). Call rotation would be every fourth week (triage only) with no requirement for hospital rounding or returns to the office after hours. Salary and benefits for this position would be similar to the Foster position but would be prorated for part-time status.

This office is located in a suburban area. They operate a family practice residency program site in collaboration with Kent County Hospital and the University of New England DO program. Physicians working at this location would have the opportunity to precept family practice residents if they were so inclined.
