Opportunity Description: Excellent practice opportunity! Physician will fill a vacancy created by another physician who has relocated to another facility operated by Ohio Hills Health Services. The current practice is very busy and well-established. The successful candidate will join three other family practice physicians and one internal medicine physician at two other locations. Support staff will consist of a nurse, receptionist, transcriptionist, and billing clerk.
Community Type and Description: Freeport is located in the southwestern corner of rural Harrison County, Ohio. The community is relatively small, but because it is situated among three lakes, the population increases dramatically during the summer months. Residents enjoy a safe, clean community with moderately priced housing, a good elementary school, a variety of church denominations, and excellent recreational opportunities. Leisure activities include: golfing, boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, camping, biking, etc. Local shops are available for essential items, but various shopping malls are available for more extensive shopping. Ohio University has a branch campus nearby, and the Belmont Technical College has a branch campus in the county. The county also has its own hospital and country club. Plenty of community activities and events occur throughout the year, such as the county fair, school events, and craft shows
Practice Environment: Practice is housed in an attractive, recently renovated facility. The practice environment includes four exam rooms, a lab, physicians office, medical records, lounge, large reception/waiting area, and a newly constructed three-operatory dental suite. Practice Schedule: Health center hours are M-F, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience; production incentive available Benefits: benefits include health, life and disability insurance, malpractice
