They currently have four family practice physicians and one physician assistant. They offer very competitive salary ($160,000-170,000) with a guarantee base or 40% of gross production, CME allowances ($2,000), malpractice paid, loan repayment, and generous vacation (206 work days year 1, 201 work days year 2, 196 work days all following years). The call is based on the number of physicians employed. The new physician could expect a 1 in 5 call schedule. They are attached to a 20 bed Critical Access Hospital and 45 Resident Nursing Home.
You would have 4-5 other providers to coordinate with and you have a very experienced nursing staff and business office to help build your practice. Every physician has a pod to work out of. A pod consists of 3 exam rooms, 1 office, and a nurse's desk. They have a fully based PAC system with MRI, Ultra Sound, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, and CT. The radiology images are available on your desk with audio and video.
