SUPERVISOR: Director of Geriatrics
Academic
1. There is involvement in continuing Geriatric medical education as a provider and participant.
2. Membership is obtained in regional and/or national academic and scientific societies as required: American Geriatrics Society (AGS); American Medical Directors Association (AMDA); AMDA, Michigan Chapter.
3. There is participation in presentations and publications.
4. There is involvement in other scholarly activities.
Must fulfill the requirements for and obtain a faculty appointment
IV. WORKING CONDITIONS
Clinic Environment, requiring delivery of patient care (physical dexterity), application of bio-hazard safety training, minimal lifting (not greater than 10 pounds), computer usage (prolonged sitting, eye strain).
