Well established Residency program in Western Kentucky seeks additional faculty member. Join 4 other faculty in busy six, six, six program. Program was established in 1971. Position is 80% teaching and 20% clinical work. Physician would need to do some OB. Work traditional 5 day workweek. 1:5 call schedule. Very competitive compensation and benefit package (malpractice, health, life, $5,000 CME, $8,000 relocation, 401-K with match, signing bonus etc).

The practice is located in the heart of Western Kentucky in a beautiful community of 20K. Just 1 hour from Evansville, IN and 90 minutes from Nashville, TN!

This is a community with a small town atmosphere and the amenities of a much larger city. Children can attend excellent public, parochial and private schools along with many good universities and community colleges for higher education.

This community is proud to be the home of a very diverse group of manufacturing industries as well as a large medical community and numerous small and medium sized businesses.

There are abundant outdoor recreation opportunities. Natural and manmade resources allow residents to pursue a variety of activities including fishing, hunting, boating and golfing. 480 acres of park land provides year round supervised recreational programs for all ages. The 185-acre Municipal Park includes a nine-hole golf course, Olympic size pool, and picnic areas. Two local country clubs sport 18 hole golf courses and the Municipal Park includes a nine-hole golf course. Supervised baseball leagues, football and basketball teams, and tennis and golf clinics are also sponsored by the city and local civic groups. The YMCA complex, a movie theater, roller-skating rink, and bowling alley are just a few of the indoor recreational opportunities.
