KRC.0709.1921.02C Family Medicine position, with or without OB, available to join existing practice with two other physicians. Call Coverage will be shared with an eight physician rotation. Hospital services include acute care with OB, ICU, radiology, lab, surgery, PT, RT and ER.
Salary is $160,000 per year with a first year guarantee and option for year two. Possible relocation costs and CME allowance available.
Community Comments: This is a beautiful community rich in history, located in South Central Kansas. An agricultural and business center, this progressive community has approximately 12,000 residents. It has grown into an industrious community offering many cultural, recreational and educational opportunities. The local community college has a diverse enrollment and offers a large variety of courses and a beautiful campus.
Opportunities for recreational activities are plentiful in this community. In addition to the seventeen parks, there is a large community swimming pool, twelve public tennis courts, and two golf courses. The Recreation Center provides activities and facilities for all ages. Area lakes provide good hunting and fishing and the local nature center provides an excellent opportunity for hiking, with over five miles of trails through diverse habitats.
