Family Physician Position wanted without OB for Federally Qualified Community Health and Dental Center. This facility has a HPSA designation. Clinic services include primary care, women's health, Kan-Be-Healthy physicals, diabetes education, school physicals, children's health, family planning, emergency dental, minor emergency care, flu shots, x-ray/lab, HIV education, DOT physicals, pneumonia shots, and childhood immunizations.
Current staff includes 1 Physician, Dentist, Hygentist, 2 ARNPs, Physician Assistant, Clinical Psychologist, and two case managers. The physician will share call coverage with current physician on a weekly basis for clinic patients. Call rotation for the hospital is 1:6 for weekend coverage. There is no ER call for this position. Salary range is competitive and negotiable and benefits include: paid malpractice, paid vacation, life, medical and dental insurance. CME allowance, loan repayment, and relocation costs are available.
This community is located in Northeast Kansas, within driving distance of Topeka and Kansas City. Favorite past-times are raising and riding horses, lake activites, hunting, fishing, sports, theater, and shopping. Children's sports are very popular and plentiful as well. There is a large free Independence Day celebration held here as well. It lasts four days and includes a water show, large parade, music and food in the park, kids activities, and more. Excellent public and private schools.
