KRC.0706.1915.01C Family Physician opportunity available with a multi-specialty group practice located in the Healing Arts Building. This position is strictly outpatient, clinic-based. Although physicians see a wide variety of patients, OB is not included in the caseload. Currently on staff are 2 Family Physicians, 5 Internist, and 4 Pediatricians. The call coverage is shared with the family physicians and internal medicine physicians. The family physicians divide call time into 1:3 and are responsible for answering questions over the telephone. However, the internists provide all call coverage to the hospital (inpatient). The admitting regional hospital is 132-beds and provides a full range of services including acute care, obstetrics, emergency medicine, surgery, oncology, rehabilitation, wound care, cardiology, orthopedics, and neurology. The salary is $150,000. Benefits include 20 vacation days, 5 CME days, CME allowance, relocation, life insurance, health and dental insurance, disability insurance, malpractice insurance, profit sharing or 401K plan, corporate membership to the YMCA, and professional membership dues.
