Large medical group in Indianapolis has openings at two of their outpatient practices for a family practice physician. One group has one physician and had a physician relocate and is temporarily being covered by a locums until a new physician starts. Work Monday to Friday in the office and phone call is 1 in 4 for nights and weekends. The second practice is has 4 physicians and is looking for a 5th physician. Work Monday to Friday in the office and the phone call is 1 in 5 for nights and weekends. Both groups have a triage service that handles the calls and limits the calls the physicians actually receive. Both practices are 100% outpatient and use hospitalist for all admissions and inpatient rounding. Both are employed position with a guaranteed base salary and bonuses for three years and then their physicians go on an RVU production model. They also provide malpractice, relocation and full benefits. The practices are located in growing suburbs of Indianapolis. Indianapolis has something for everyone including professional sports, museums, theater, performing arts, excellent shopping and dining, 4 distinct seasons and several parks and gardens. There also plentiful outdoor activities such as biking, fishing, hiking, golf and more.
