Salmon, Idaho, and western Montana -- Providence Health & Services is seeking an excellent Board Certified Emergency Medicine or FM/IM physicians with ER training to provide emergency room coverage at a critical access hospital in Salmon, Idaho. Must have or obtain Idaho license. Shifts are 24 hours. Includes opportunity for per diem work in rural ERs throughout western Montana. New physician will be employed by St. Patrick Hospital & Health Sciences Center, Providence's renowned hospital in Missoula.
The Salmon area and western Montana offer spectacular Rocky Mountain living. Salmon is at the foot of the beautiful Beaverhead Mountains, about halfway between Boise and Missoula. Salmon is a historical Western town with a tight-knit community of about 850 families. Blue-ribbon trout streams, snow-capped peaks, vast pine forests and miles of trails make western Montana and eastern Idaho an outdoor enthusiast's dream.
