Opportunity to join established three-physician Internal Medicine group based out of the Medical Center to become full-time partner located at offices in Lakeland and Bartow, Florida. Salary with incentives position and must be interested in partnership track. The Medical Center is a 72-bed acute care facility located in Bartow, Florida, 5 miles south of Lakeland, Florida. The service area for The Medical Center is 250,000 and growing. The community provides for all the joys of small-town living, with easy access to the cultural aspects and amenities of Tampa and Orlando both located just 30-45 minutes from the area. Bartow Regional Medical Center is a Joint Commission accredited facility that specializes in the provision of personalized care to our community. Our staff consists of over 205 physicians and 450 employees who take pride in offering a wide range of services including 24 hr Emergency Department, General Medical, ICU, PCU, PSU, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, GYN, Pediatrics, Neurology, Nephrology, Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine, Center for Wellness and Therapy, and a womens center will be completed in 2009. The hospital will be adding a 3rd floor within.
