Position
Seeking a BC Family Medicine Physician to join a group of five physicians and two mid-level providers in a thriving family medicine and urgent care practice. The group was established in 1987, and was voted Best of the Best Urgent Care in Douglas County in 2007, 2008, and 2009 and Best of the Best Pediatrics in 2008 and 2009. This is a reputable group with Physicians Board Certified in Family Practice, Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics who pride themselves in being active members of the community. The practice is enjoying tremendous growth and offers a comprehensive range of expertise and advanced practice not found in other clinics. This is a lifestyle opportunity with an option for a four-day work week. Call is limited to phone only. Hospitalists manage the groups inpatients. The practice benefits from a well-run office and collegial, fun atmosphere, with a stable and well-trained staff. Facilities include X-ray, lab (with in house testing for complete blood work) DEXA Bone Scan, stress treadmill testing for cardiac screening, IMT screens, a CNFP certified for colposcopy procedures, casting rooms, IV therapy, and much more. The practice is supported by a wide-range of specialists who rotate through adjacent office space in the building and are readily available for consultation. .
Practice
Volume/Types of Cases: Physicians average 27 to 30 patients per day. Cases include the full range of family medicine (no OB), pediatrics and urgent care.
Call: Typically 1 weekday per week, and one weekend per month. Call is phone only, no hospital call.
Payer Mix: Primarily commercially insured patients, self-insured, Medicare 20% and Medicaid less than 1%.
Compensation: The practice offers a competitive salary, incentive bonus, sign-on bonus and relocation allowance. The group provides full benefits, including health, dental and long-term disability insurance, malpractice, paid time off, 401(k) and CME allowance.
