Lancaster Community Hospital is assisting a growing 1-year old multi-specialty clinic recruit a family practice physician.
The clinic is located in Palmdale, just 45 minutes north of Los Angeles. Current staff includes a Pediatrician, an OB/GYN and a Nurse practitioner. Current patients volumes are 10 to 15 patients per day in office, with minimal in-patients. The group refers to one area hospital, with flexible call available. Compensation includes a salary, benefits and a partnership track.
This opportunity offers exceptional growth potential as Palmdale is one of the fastest growing areas in California. The community will also welcome a new hospital facility, scheduled to open in 2009.
Lancaster Community Hospital is a 117 bed facility serving the Antelope Valley community (Lancaster and Palmdale), and is located approximately one hour north of Los Angeles. Lancaster Community Hospital has a Heart Center, outpatient physical therapy and inpatient Acute Rehab Unit, inpatient and outpatient surgery, and 24-hour emergency care. The facility averages 6,500 admissions and 11,000 out-patient visits each year, and over 18,000 emergency department visits. The hospital boasts over 550 employees, including nearly 300 RNs and other nursing staff, and an active medical staff of nearly 250.
Centers of emphasis include: Cancer, Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, Surgery, Acute (ARU) and Outpatient Rehabilitation Services, and Wound Care Clinic
