seeking 1 full time physician for our clinic. St. Johns is part of the White Mountain Special Health Care District (SHCD). The Health Care District has contracted with North Country to provide primary care for the St. Johns and surrounding areas. The SHCD provides long term stability and job security. The clinic was built by the and is a beautiful facility. The 8000' facility was built in 2000 and includes a large waiting room, 4+ exam rooms (with room for at least 2 more), procedure room, well woman room, well child room, lab station, individual provider offices, break room, etc. No radiology on site. No OB. Physicians are expected to see 18-24 patients in an 8 hour shift. 4 X 10 hour shifts available. Our clinic is currently staffed with 1 PA. North Country Healthcare offers a generous benefit package including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, 401K, LTD, and life insurance. Employees earn 29 days of paid time off and 7 federal holidays plus 1 week CME paid time off with $2000 stipend. RVU incentive plan for productivity plus annual rural pay adjustment. St. Johns is a qualified loan repayment opportunity. The 2 closest hospitals are in Springerville (15 beds) and Show Low, Arizona (99 beds). Most referrals go to these 2 communities. Hospital call is 1 in 6 weekends at White Mountain Regional in Springerville, no OB at this hospital. There is an ED and ICU in Springerville. St. Johns is located 35 minutes from Springerville, 45 minutes from Show Low, 45 minutes from Holbrook (I-40), 4 hours to Phoenix, 3.5 hours to ABQ, NM, 4.5 hours from Tucson and 2.5 hrs. from Flagstaff, Az. St. Johns is located in the high desert and offers broad vistas and easy access to the vast White Mountain range in eastern Arizona.
